Team Hotaru Ika (チームホタルイカ) was a limited idol girl group represented by Stardust Promotion under Section 3's 3Bjunior in 3Bjunior Live FINAL: Ore no Fujii on January 4, 2014 live concert.

The group is named Jr. Jr. (Junior Junior) in Nanairo no Stardust music video.

History[]

Team Hotaru Ika was comprised of 17 members in the Nanairo no Stardust music video (as Jr. Jr.) and 3Bjunior Live FINAL: Ore no Fujii live concert. The members are all 13 members of Minitia Bears with the addition of Arisa Sakura, Ayaka Sameshima, Hikaru and Aoba Mori.

Team Hotaru Ika was first featured in Sutada 3Bjunior Last Daizenshu album on the first track One Love with Team Daioh Ika, the members featured in the album is Arisa Sakura, Mao Kunimitsu, Yukari Kose, Ayaka Sameshima and Shion Ishiguro.[1] Team Hotaru Ika was then announced to perform in 3Bjunior LIVE FINAL: Ore no Fujii in the Ore no Fujii Ustream on January 4, 2013. The group was disbanded in the live concert along with Team Daioh Ika.

  • The group's name literally means Team Firefly Squid, firefly squid (Watasenia scintillans) is a species of squid that can emit light from its body. The name follows aquatic animal theme in 3Bjunior's group after Ebichu (shrimp) and Syachihoko (killer whale).
